VIP Texas License To Carry
The Texas License to Carry a Handgun, or commonly known as the concealed handgun license and concealed carry permit, is the license required in Texas to conceal or open carry a handgun in public. Our VIP course is officially approved by Texas DPS and is needed to get your License to Carry in Texas.

HANDGUN
Intro and Advanced Handgun
The first class we will go over the basics: Stance, Grip, Trigger techniques, and Sight picture.
The second class you will learn the basics of drawing from a holster, then going through a live fire exercise on the range. You will also learn about the different areas to carry and what to look for when purchasing a holster for carry.
The third class you will use your firearm, holster and ammo. This class focuses on your method of carry or helping you find one. We will explore the different techniques of drawing from concealment for all times during the year. This class will also focus on building up speed while maintaining accuracy on target.
The fourth class focuses on how to move forward, backward and left to right. Knowing the difference between cover and concealment and how to best use them. This class will help you to better familiarize yourself with your personal equipment you plan to carry.
The fifth class you will learn the different techniques of handheld and Weapon Mounted Light (WML) systems. Learn about the different brands of lights out on the market and what to look for when purchasing a light.

CARBINE
Intro and Advanced Carbine

The second class you learn the basic fundamentals of carbines and works on identification and how to correct carbine malfunctions. Also covering topics such as combat and tactical reloads and where to place effective shots on target.
The third class you will use different techniques of handheld and Weapon Mounted Light (WML) systems. Learn about the different brands of lights out on the market and what to look for when purchasing a light.

HOME DEFENSE
Home Defense Training In Class or Your Home
This class will help you to see your home differently. Learning how to best utilize the space in your home for self defense and develop a plan to make you feel more secure in your home. We also cover topics such as Go-bags, and which firearms work best in a home defense setting.

CHURCH SAFETY TEAM
Church Safety Team and Assessment
The safety team assessment can be done for any church safety team no matter consists of a general assessment for each safety team member to ensure they meet the Knight Defenders standard. We also will take a look at your response plans or help to develop one if you don’t already.
